The hotel is in a prime location, close to all the subway lines, in the midst of the theater district, in Midtown. The rooms are small, but comfortable with a TV, standup shower, and a comfortable king bed. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. There is a cat in the lobby, adding to the charm. The gym facilities are quite nice, with a treadmill and weights.

The $25 daily facility fee seems like a slimy move, and the explanation at check-in was not very clear.

Very good choice. Well located, comfortable rooms with good air conditioning, spectacular breakfast included, and $30 additional daily voucher to consume at the hotel.

The shower is quite small, but it still worked perfectly.

The historical significance and charming 30's ambiance of this hotel instantly transported us to a bygone era. The staff were really good and were great too ensure we had a comfortable stay. We particularly appreciated the warm and friendly service from the housekeeping staff and the helpfulness of the restaurant staff. The location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to theaters and shopping. thevery comfy and tidy rooms made our stay enjoyable.

One downside was the additional fee of $25 per day, which seemed unnecessary considering the already expensive rates. The prices for food and drinks at the bar were also quite steep and some of the waiters were a bit pushy in trying to get us to continuously order.

This place is a hidden gem that truly exceeded my expectations. The location is unbeatable, just a short walk away from all the hotspots in Midtown. The staff is top notch and truly made me feel most welcome. The service is impeccable, from the room service to the car hire, dry cleaning, and housekeeping. The amenities are top notch, including a beautifully decorated dining area and bar/lounge with friendly barmen. The rooms are cozy and have all the essentials, including a mini-bar, air conditioning, and free toiletries. I especially loved the accommodating staff who went above and beyond to accommodate my request for non-alcoholic “cocktails” in coupe glasses.

The amenities in the hotel were impressive, from the welcome drink upon arrival to the complimentary postcards and New Yorker magazine in the room. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room itself was spacious and well-appointed.
